Had a good but exhausting day at work. There's 3 of us in training, and typically 3 teams. They don't normally put noobs in structural heart cases because they're extremely fast paced and require a lot of experience. But they didn't have a choice today.

It was nice to be in the same room doing the same procedures over and over. No switching gears and doing different things, just practice the same thing. By the end of the day I actually felt fairly comfortable for the day. 11 hours today. Tomorrow I'm on call again and late start so don't have to go in until 0930. Don't get to go home until everything's finished, rooms are restocked etc so it'll be a long day.

Also, I should specify. When I said an online game uses 50-100 Mbps, I was referring to multi-player gaming console (Playstation and Xbox), and PC games like Call of Duty or Fortnite. Playing Angry Birds or something else on your phone will not use that much.

Yeah, my son has an Xbox and a PlayStation that he uses to play multi player online games and he doesn't seem to have issues with connections. Again, we are not heavy users. Although there are many devices connected to WiFi, there are not all running at the same time in full force eating up bandwidth.

Since Three Legs Franky is closer to Boston, he might have fiber optic Xfinity/Comcast which has the highest speeds. I'm kinda in the boonies so it's either Verizon phone line DSL (which sucks) or Xfinity/Comcast cable.

One other thing to note is the speed also depends on how many households and businesses are on the same line as your house. Once it gets to the pole or the underground connection, everyone on that "pipeline" between you and the server share the same wire. For example, I have cable. Everyone in the neighborhood that uses cable service share the same cable line once it hits the pole outside. The hospital a couple blocks away and the community college another couple blocks away are also on the same digital pipeline unless they have a dedicated line tailored to those buildings and the campus which they might {shrug}.

The way the internet and data communications work is super interesting and fascinating.

Drove a Maserati Quadtrooper of something like that. Sounded cool and went fast.
Tesla Model 3 later, with a credit card thing to start it instead of a key. Couldn’t figure how to turn it off. You just get out of the car and walk away. Odd.

A seven year old Chev Suburban was the bill of the day. Just under 9k.

When I ask the mechanic what was wrong with it he deadpanned it …. Everything.

He's a multi-tasker. He's got all of those March Madness games to keep up with, plus has to keep up with the DOW & MarketWatch to see who buys out Joann Fabrics, then there's the Matlock marathon.

Tomorrow morning I’m getting the ol’ esophagus dilated again and probably remove a few polyps unless I’m lucky and don’t have any this time. It is like a medieval torture ritual.

Been on quite a few different cholesterol meds and had problems with almost all. Finally landed on Lipitor been years now without issue. Niaspan was probably the worst of them with some weird flush/burning feeling over my entire body at completely random times.
