81613 Southern Draw manzanita. First one, but I bought a fiver of the robs and the toros for about $4per. Evaluating for a box since they're on sale for about that price.

Big AJF pepper. Lil earthy lil dry. Palama says let these boys sleep. Like most of the AJ stuff I've had, age is kind to them but I'm not a fan right out the gate. The rest of these will lay dormant for a while. It's not bad. Not gonna buy the sale boxes.

81618 Crowned Heads Le Careme first one I've had.

Initial light deep rich earthiness and a good bit of pepper. Weird box press more of a squished cigar like they were trying to do the oval press thing.

After first ash a bit of mineral notes come out, still rich earthiness still peppery retro but it subsided to almost none by halfway. Sweet nutty notes with the rich earthiness and the texture is borderline rich and creamy. This tastes like a cigar that will age out well. Surprised by the progression. It's quite nice. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a sale box of these.

Not as good as the last one which wasn’t very good. This one had persistent burn issues and a firmer draw than the others and certainly firmer than I like. There was pepper and cedar and leather on light up and then no flavor after that.

I've only smoked the Toro but I wasn't a big fan of them even with 5 months of rest. For me, the 1 year mark is when they started to shine. Personally, I would jump on a couple of boxes but ymmv.

The Pi was very disappointing, not recommended.

I like the Bosphorus. They can have some rough edges here and there, but the type of edges that time will help. Interesting profile, kinda different.

The Pi was harsh all the way through. There were some interesting flavors at different points, some cream, a nice sweetness, but not enough to overcome the underlying harshness. It didn't help that it was a little underfilled.

It would have been an OK $3 cigar, but there's other stuff for $3 that I would rather have like Ave Maria or Diesel. I paid $15 at a B&M. But now I know.
