82098: Sancho Panza Glorioso (Toro) (6.1"x50)
This is the one with Connie wrapper and a Maduro binder. It’s a medium bodied, low strength cigar. Light box press, notes of honey, nuts, cream and Wheaties and cornbread crust. Very nice mellow cigar.

As for the moose line, there is also a Connie called the shady Moose so there are 5 variations. My favorite is the Bull Moose maduro except that 60 is the smallest ring gauge that the 2 Bull Moose come in.

I haven’t had that Jalapa ligero wrapper in awhile and I didn’t know that I missed it. It’s a very manageable medium + and I think the balance of spice and sweet is just right. I’ve had this one several months and apparently that is long enough for it to lose some of those hard abrasive edges. Pepper and spice and leather and sweet on the kickoff then the pepper mellows to a background note. The nice sour notes come along in the first third. Midway some cocoa and in the end a bit of all the flavors mingling with a hint of vanilla sugar on occasion. I was surprised at how good this cigar could get after another month of rest. Can’t wait to try some that are older that I’ve received as gifts from the brothers in the trades. Fantastic middle of the night can’t sleep smoke. I’d buy a box for a friend and tell him to bury it for 6 months.

I was looking at tenski's fiver selection the other day, and the only x000 maduro Padrón left was 54 or 56 rg or such. That tells you something. I've also been eyeing some La Aurora Ecuador parejos, and the 5x50 rg sell for twice the price of the 54rg toro, and the romustos are usually sold out. Not the toros. Seems like the market is giving the right feedback, but it's just not being appreciated.

Seems like theres a lot less corona and lancero offerings and more 60s than a few years ago. Also more Robustos that are thicker like 54 rg. Like the undercrown robusto.

There's a lot of flavor packed into that Bull Moose maduro though. Even for a 60. Very spicy but still unnatural smoking it.
