Since nobody has mentioned it... the stadium has the lowest homerun percentage in MLB history. Unless you are Bonds... Barry Bonds.

It'll take awhile for the muscles to atrophy now that the juice has stopped flowing...

Give it another year and see if he shrinks some more and doesn't get as many out of the park.

Cheap shot? Yeah, but I just hadda do it for humor's sake. I know the Bonds fans don't find it humorous and that's what makes it humorous. As apposed to Humerus.

Mag/TrannyMk/Mike aka Bonds Cheering Squad

I mentioned the fact in the post just above yours, that it is not an easy park to hit homeruns in! Good grief, you never let up!

It is still going to be a tainted record, and I hope for the sake of MLB that they do put an asterisk on his home run numbers!

No Chucky, I wont let up.

Maybe you better put an asterisk next to the Babes name too. He never played against black or hispanic players. He never faced the awesome pitching staffs that we have today. He played with a bunch of smaller, weaker, softer white guys.

Babe Ruth may not have been as much of a legend had he played against conditioned atheletes of ALL races like todays players do.

MACS, you dont know jack about roids. We had this discussion a long time ago. Your opinion is worthless to me.

Oh Chucky, I forgot another thing. The size bat Babe Ruth used would be illegal today. Better get that asterisk stamp out for the babe.

Obviously you arent a very knowledgeable baseball fan. Bonds was hitting many homeruns when he was thin too. And they were out of Candlestick park. One of the older, larger, harder parks to hit homers in.

Along with MACS, He claims his doctor wants him to lose 28 lbs by next season (roll-eyes). It's probally because he's under a microscope and can't juice so he'll atrophy to around that area (-28lbs).

And then, in a blink, Bonds whipped his bat, driving the ball over the right-field wall. The two-run shot, his 707th career homer and fourth in four games, came in the first inning Wednesday night and started the Giants on their way to a 5-1 victory over the Washington Nationals.

``I don't know how he hit it. We were all talking about it after we came into the dugout,' Patterson said. ``It's like fighting Ali. You make one little mistake, and he makes you pay. You realize, at some point, Barry's going to get you.'

Enough said !

Bonds has played 20 yrs. 707HR's divided by 20=35per season average. And it's really only 19yrs since he only will play 20 games this year(37 at that pace).

He has 21 at bats so far. 4 homers every 5 AB's. This guy takes a year off, rolls out of bed and steps in like he never left.

Name another elite athelete of his caliber, who has done that after an injury. I bet you cant name even 5. And go ahead and throw in all sports.

I'll start with Jordan and Ali, but they werent injured. Well, Ali probably was hurting all the time.

And again, I'm not going to let up. So keep your eye on your EX thread. I'm taking over! It's a blast right now!

His doctor asked him to TRY and lose the weight because of the stress on the knee. He said that he will try, but that's all that was said. He had 3 operations. 2 infections.

He is definatly not on roids. How do you explain the weight loss of the other roiders? Giambi lost it fast. Bonds looks just as big, but not as cut up. If you cant do cardio, due to a leg injury, you will gain a layer of fat. Thats the only change I can see.

Come up with facts and I'll listen. Talking about rumors doesnt count.

Tranny, you kinda answered your own question. When the other "roid" pumpers called it quits their bodys immediately shrunk because they were healthy and continued with cardio but had no juice to keep the muscle fibers pumped. So they lost a ton of weight fast.

Now with Bonds he (may or may not have) gotten off the designer juice and didn't follow up with his current exercise program. So now he probally still kept his large eating regimine because his body was used to that and he isn't working out as hard. So he's still maintaning size but lost his cuts. Like you said "built a fat layer".

My argument is, now he's ready for cardio and will lose the weight fast so he better come up with a great excuse. What better way than to get your doctor to say "lose the weight because of your knee".

I don't have any facts (like you) but it does lead to a good conversation. I don't really care either way, I'm an Angels fan (I lived in Orange County almost all my life). Hopefully they will get to the World series along with the Angels and we can meet up for a primo smoke at the Big Game (in Anaheim of course ;o) )

I got ya. I can also see your reasoning too. I just want to believe Bonds. He is on my team. I think it's natural to want the best for your team, whether it's performance or image.

You seem to make reasonalble points. I can handle that. And I dont feel upset or negative towards you. Some others like to rip on fans that still believe in Bonds.

Nobody really knows, but the members of Balco, Bonds and God. Thanks for your input. We will just have to wait and see. Time will tell.

Opposite field 3 run homer! In SD, one of the hardest parks to hit one at!
