Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Americans don’t want to see President Biden indicted when he leaves office, suggesting that he won’t seek retribution for the criminal cases leveled against him if he’s elected to the White House in November.

Trump, 77, alleged that the 81-year-old president and his administration have engaged in “tremendous criminality” related to the indictments brought against him since announcing his White House run and argued that it would be “easy” to go after Biden with the full force of the Justice Department while downplaying his interest in doing so.

“We can’t have this stuff go on,” the presumptive Republican nominee for president told Fox News host Sean Hannity, referring to GOP claims that the Biden administration has been engaging in lawfare to stymie his presidential campaign.

“Because you know what? When Biden goes out and everyone says, ‘Bye bye,’ and then he gets indicted two days later — the country doesn’t want that,” Trump said.

“They didn’t want it with Hillary Clinton either,” the former president continued, noting that he didn’t use the DOJ to go after the former secretary of state despite his supporters clamoring for him to “lock her up” on the 2016 campaign trail.

Politically expedient to get some new cat litter in there and bury the “very possible”.

Wouldn’t be surprised is Hannity himself called Trump and offered him a stage to do just that.

The man proves himself a low character sleaze. And yet people I like and respect continue to support him.

It's a terrible, terrible path that they're leading us to, and it's very possible that it's going to have to happen to them."

‘Very Possible’ being a shabbily veiled threat to go after the Dems because he feels wronged by his trial.

He has to be president first. Once there, he could Very Possibly make his Very Possible come true.

Do you support him to do that?
(Or)
Do you feel that is the wrong thing to do?

When he made the shabbily veiled threats against Hilary I expected him to follow through but he took the high road and decided to put it behind him and pursue his goals as President. I don’t expect him to follow through this time.

Do I support a tit for tat? No, I do not. If there are blatantly obvious law breakers then I do support a quick strike and then be done with it. I do not support an investigation that drags on and the attempts to prosecute with a patchwork of crap that doesn’t make a sound and clear path to conviction. I don’t support trying to spin misdemeanors into a felony conviction if there are no victims or to hinge the charges on character assassination. I would be a hypocrite if, after complaining about this hush money trial, I suddenly supported the Trump administration in those same shenanigans.

In short, no. I don’t support tit for tat.

I agree jeebling. Trump doesn't have it in him to do a tit for tat.

So you didn’t like these Trump quotes either? Not surprising. I’m not sure that there is anything Trump could say that you would like. That’s the burden you have to carry as a never-Trumper.

Now you are hung up on squishy words like “very possible”? You hear that and interpret it as a guarantee. That’s your bias.

It is very possible that all the coastal cities will be underwater by 2050 due to climate change.

It is very possible that World War 3 has already started and by mid-2025 the US will be in full scale military deployment and will have reinstated the draft.

There are probably cases where people who like and respect you still can’t believe you still support Joe Biden.

He's praying for himself real hard.

If the Republicans want to claim the moral high ground that doesn't exist, Bidden would pardon Trump and if Trump wins, he would pardon Biden.

End the alleged tit-for-tat.

I’d say FDR was the best dictator of the 20th Century. He was more merciful by comparison and his tampering with the labor market and economy didn’t end in ruins even considering all of the criticisms we can assign to his actions. Interning American citizens, in my personal view, was probably his “worst” offense. That’s just my opinion, I make no claims of fact about best and worst that I can argue. I think it is fairly subjective.

That’s the problem….as a Never Trumper you can’t just do that Republican honorable loss thing because the system is binary. You’re get stuck being pro-Biden. You already got four years of that and are now lined up for four more! You don’t get to say I didn’t like either candidate so I should be exempt from the 10% inflation and the largest expansion of national debt by any four year President.

I feel your pain. My preferred candidate is already eliminated. If I’m Never Biden then I’m stuck being pro-Trump.

Uncle Joe Stalin was his buddy.
He wanted to pack the court to guarantee his one party dicktatorship.
He lied the people into WWII.
He listened to John Maynard Keynes's crackpot ideas about using massive government deficit spending to combat the Great Depression.
He gave East Europe to the Reds.

So we get a choice between Biden vs Trump as opposed to no choice with Biden vs Haley. The problem with Haley is that it would be a meaningless and useless victory. The idea of supporting Trump for POTUS isn’t so much that I enjoy mean tweets and salty jabs but rather that I like how he ran the country last time. I thought his policies were better and he attempted to do what he campaigned on. The Dems spent a lot of ti e and money simply trying to prevent Trump from having any success regardless of the consequences to America and likewise they’ve spent time and money trying to discredit him and disqualify him from running for POTUS. The Dems are very effective at controlling what people think and what they talk about.
