82446: Brazilian Cream Robusto (5.0"x52)
- With thanks to JTS -
Zesty, creamy, mellow. This is an enjoyable Cuban Sandwich of a yard ‘gar. Light, balanced profile that is satisfying and nothing to complain about. This is my first. Thank you, Jake.

82456 - RyJ Reserva Real Nicaragua Magnum

This was a first for me. Enjoyed it very much. Good bit of pepper on retro and a some creamy leather and spices as well. Only had one but I'll have to make a point to pick some up.

82457: Brazilian Cream Romusto with thanks to Jake The Snake
Surprisingly Good. I smoked one earlier today and decided to burn this one as well. From a 40 stick bomb Jake sent me when I was just getting acquainted with the brothers here. Jake rolled out a big ol’ welcome wagon. Thanks, Jake!

New cigar. Was really good even tho im not a fan of MSA wrappers. Had some corojo 98 in the filler and had a nice corojo taste. Not sure if I'd pay $13 for it though.

82464 El Pulpo robusto.

I did not enjoy this one bit. Tossed before halfway. And I spent nearly $12 for it. It's distinctly AJF, and MSA. There's no balance, no progression, no complexity. Just pepper and dirt. Very dry, no sweetness, no cocoa, just lots and lots of filthy dirt. Not rich earthiness. And the dry texture accentuates the harshness making for a very unpleasant experience.

I try not to call a cigar bad unless it's something I couldn't recommend to anyone. Plenty people like heavy MSA cigars, I can appreciate when it's a good one even if I don't care for it myself. But the combination of the $12 price tag and the awful taste of this cigar, the only redeeming quality is that it burned straight and made a lot of smoke. Maybe like every other AJF cigar it needs to age a few years but at this price that shouldn't be. That's acceptable for a $4 smoke to improve with time. If this had a Diesel band on it I would say it's a typical cheap AJF pepper bomb. But it's not cheap. Yet it tastes like it. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do with a $10+ cigar. Answer is not much.

Awful no good bad cigar. Just terrible.
