Boring one note cigar. It's a good note but I expect more from a $10 cigar. Flavors similar to a RP Decade.

82570: Olivia Master Blend 3 Churchill. I've tried this in several shapes and was never impressed by them. This one has had a black pepper smell to it. Upon lighting I got some green veggitive, I know I made that word up but nothing else fit, flavor. It morphed into a more tobacco taste and continued to to bloom. The last third picked up a heavier peppery flavor. Overall this is the best of the Master Blends. I don't know for sure but it feels like it's changed since the sale or if it was just this shape but it is a large difference. I've got some put up for aging and will republish when I crack em out. If you haven't tried these lately I recommend giving them another try.

Started the morning off with a different cigar. I grabbed a San Lotano Oval Connecticut Toro. The one that I picked came from a 5-pack I just received. I don't know if it was the plastic wrapping but this one looked rough. It was not up to the standards that I've come to expect from AJF. At least the construction was solid with no leaks. The smell of the light scent of curing tobacco. I used V-cut as I like it on smaller cigars. The first draw had a light resistance to it. Upon lighting the first puffs were a delight. Mild and tongue tingling. Being an Ecuadorian shade made it a little bit stronger than I like for the first cigar of the day. Aside from that I really liked the cigar. It had a good quality tobacco flavor with a pepper chaser. All-in-all I think these really show the talent of AJF. I really like the Ovals as a shape. If you're an AJ fan this will be worthy of a try. It's also one of the higher scorers for him.

82585 Warped Lirio Rojo

Big pepper to start. Eye watering. Settles down a bit and more spices play in. Nice sweet nutty character, creamy texture and sweet finish. Excellent cigar.

Is this the 2023 release?

Iffin’ so, I’ve been meaning to get some before they evaporate. The 2018 and 2019 releases ended being GREAT smokes after a few years of nap time but didn’t get any 2020 or 2021’s so completely franked up. Made slight amends with last years release but those two missing years still haunt me.

Yup. They taste like they would age very nicely. Cabs for $300 at tenski. $50/250+ coupon till midnight too.
