Mowed..........again.

In the south they put an "I" on stuff that ends in an "A"

So, for example, it's not Mozzarella cheese, it's Mozzarelli cheese.

The different dialects even within regions is interesting...

Side note: I have a Honder engine on my plow, I mean Hondi.

Over and out.

Went for hot bagels at 7am. Ate like 5 Everythings.
Then crashed comatose for like 4 hours or longer.

Taking wife to the beach this afternoon and then for dinner somewhere on the water where she can get a fresh grouper sandwich
And... That is my relaxing day!.

My favorite bagel is a salt bagel. It's a bagel with pretzel salt on it. Can't find them most of the time but a local grocery store has them now and again in their bakery area. They make fresh bakery stuff throughout the day and if you go there at like 6 or 7 am when they open you get the best selection hot off the presses (the deli and bakery cooks most of their stuff on third shift).

Next pick would be an everything, followed by a Asiago cheese, or pumpernickel or poppy seed. All of them with onion and garlic or chive cream cheese.

Cinnamon and raisin bagels don't mix with cream cheese. I'd probably use butter on that one.

7 lbs of wings on the smoker and 2 blocks of cream cheese. And any of the sides or dips leftover from yesterdays party. Please had some friends stay the night so I got 4 10yo's driving me nuts on top of my young ones. Rojas breakfast Taco and Old Forester 100 proof while I man the smoker. Happy Sunday

I could go for few wings. Smoking cream cheese? That's a new one to me. How is it done? I would think it would just turn into a melted blob.

Wait. I’mma not totally familiar with the lingo but I’mma thinking “everything” means, well, everything. Smoked salmon, cream cheese, lox, capers and onions. Is there anything else you can add (…I don’t go to delis too much…)? All of that seems like a lot and I couldn’t imagine adding more to it. Nonetheless, I know I’mma nowhere near in condition to eat more than one of those but you’re saying you had F-I-V-E of them? Gawd, I’mma sure that even if I had just two of them I’d be comatose. Must taken a lotta “practice” to wolf down that many! [gonzo]

Everything bagels in my area is sesame seeds, dried onion, oatmeal, poppy seed, dried garlic, sunflower seeds, chia seeds.

Everything and or Asiago cheese and/or pumpernickel bagels would be my default unless salt bagels are available. In that case if all are available I'll go with 6 salt, 6 everything, 6 cheese, 6 pumpernickel, 6 poppy. Two dozen will last me a week or so (I bring them to work and they are open for anyone that want's one).

Block of cream cheese on tin foil seasoned with whatever rub salty or sweet you like. On the smoker 2 hours at 225. Serve with crackers, kettle chips, even apples. Some people top it at the end with like a jam or jelly of some sort. Like jalapeno or whatever you think would taste good. It doesn't melt if you keep it on tin foil or wood planks. I've also done cherry filling on top and blueberry filling on top and after it with graham crackers... So good.

Sounds like something I should try. Every now and again I do indoor smoking. A 9x13 pan, some smoking chips in a a tinfoil bread loaf pan. Light the chips just enough to get the smoke going and put the chicken or whatever on a wire rack in the pan. Tent it with some Al foil to keep the smoke in but loose enough that it can breathe. Fire up the oven low and slow. Let it run low and slow for a few hours until the meat is cooked.

It works out pretty well if your doing something small. Ive only done it with chicken breast and pork loin. It might work for doing cheese. Gonna have to try it one of these days.

Made jerky today. And that's it. Smoked a few cigars, played videogames with the boy, but had a true layabout day. Didn't do chit. Didn't leave home, nothing.

Now that I did that, I gotta do things tomorrow.

Last week I switched my exterior pest control spray to a scorpion heavy blend since the weather has really warmed up. I was out checking tonight and found two scorpions both looking like they were very drunk. Slow and choppy movement, not quick to react, etc. Guess the stuff is working, I squished then both anyhow. No sense waiting for the inevitable.

After 40+ years here in Orlando, we finally got a real bagel shop about 10 minutes away.

BTW, cinnamon and raisin are DONUTS and Asiago is inappropriate.

IMO, of course...

Thanks, Rick.

My morning walk didn't count... left my fitbit in the charger. 🤦 So 6000+ steps did not get counted.

I did 'em... I swear. 😰

I don't have a Fitbit and don't keep any log of my walks any longer. I used to log all my training miles when I was running races. Usually don't carry my phone or my Garmin watch either so iffn I look at the fitness tracker on the phone it usually says something like 500-1000 steps per day.
