83034 Fuente Anejo skinny torpedo size dunno what number it is but this one's been buried since 2016

It's been a while since I've had one. Strong boozy notes. I think they're better a bit younger than 8 years.

Always a great chocolatey smoke. I often forget how much I like these. Thanks!

83037 - Viaje Edición Limitada romusto from Stogie. Thanks, Stogie! Very full, very nice. Help me out, which one was this? I think it was the leaded Nicaragua? It had the blue leaves, and said Viaje in red letters.
83038 - Tat Verocú toro. This was one of those we split, Jake. I still have several, and man, they are hitting their stride. This one was really good. I had a vision of the future, and in it, I saw myself sitting in my backyard smoking another one of these very soon.

Lee, I am not sure. I will check my storage, but at one point I bought one version (leaded) but was sent the regular exclusivo and just kept it, so i'm not sure which one i sent you.

2nd one of 2 I had. First one I said tasted like leather boots. Hated it. This one's not bad, decent even. Slightly sweet, nutty, bready, medium pepper on retro, mild spices. Dunno what was up with the first one. Wouldn't buy another especially at $10 but I'd smoke another.

I do not like it one bit. Dry and woody.

This was the perfect smoke before church. Finished it in about 40 minutes but it is full of flavor and has enough body to satisfy. Thanks, JGRAZ. This is a smooth one I’ll probably keep on hand.

Glad you liked it. All three wraps are probably my favorite short smokes at the moment. Hoping they hit on tenski soon, that should bring the price down a bit.

Bit of pepper, bit of dirt, bit of spices. No balance no sweetness no rich texture. Burn draw and smoke flawless. Decent.

This one was better than the ones I have had from my sampler packs. They’ve probably rested much longer in PW’s and then my own storage. Not much to brag about on nose and cold draw, kinda like barnyard / hogwash. The kick off was slight black pepper and leather with a touch of savor. First third mild leather, savory, salty, occasional toast and just a hint of cantaloupe on retro, or it could be closer to cucumber. It was very pleasant and unique through the first third, that was the last of the cantaloupe / cucumber type flavor. Second third the leather maintained with occasional mild hits of burnt toast and light mineral. Into final third minerals pick up with a few hits of dark cocoa but not a lot, saltiness gone but minerals pick up. Halfway through the final third the cigar wasn’t burning well and I had to relight 2x then gave it up. Almost made it to the end. Excellent burn and draw up to that point. Thanks, PW for an enjoyable smoke.

The relight after a great 2/3 burn is something that has me stumped. Happens to me enough that I think of it as a thing. Seems to happen before the final third begins.

^ Tiver, relights generally occur for me in the final third as well. I don’t get a lot of relights but I betcha 80%+ are final third. Maybe has to do with the cigar drying quicker at the foot end?

83, 053: Cohiba Black with thanks to PapaWhiskey
Nice sweet tobacco scent and flavor on cold draw. Beautiful cigar, very firm. Draw virtually plugged but worked it a bit w/PerfecDraw tool on recommendation from FOG Palama. Works better than my pen knife, good recommendation and money well spent. First third was savory and lots of cedar. Middle was cedar and just a tad ashy. Final third was cedar and ashy, slightly bitter with savory trying to break in. I think I’m not keen on Cohiba and I’m just noob guessing that this brand has seen better days. I’m glad I had the opportunity to smoke another Black. I’ve had 2 this year and I wasn’t crazy about them. I think I know enough about the brand now to pull them off my to do list. Thanks PW for the smoke.
