#102 - Hakkaisan Tokubetsu Junmai

Drank most of it last night when we held my wife’s birthday dinner. Sushi was the main course but also had miso soup, shishamo, and (haha) crispy gau gee.

#103 - Otokoyama Tokubetsu Junmai

Small 300 ml bottle at Tok-kuri Tei. It’s an Izakaya style restaurant and been going there since they first opened in the ‘80s.

#104 - Born Junsui Junmai Daiginjo “Pure”

Excellent. Very smooth. Only saw this in the small 300 ml bottle but will be on the lookout for the larger 720 ml.

Would definitely purchase again, regardless of bottle size.

Nice. Not as light as “Pure” but still very good.

#107 - Daishichi Minowamon Junmai Daiginjo

Our son brought this back from Japan. He paid $20-something and it was frickin’ delicious! I mean, one of the best we’ve had since he brought back the Amabuki sake a few years ago or the Dassai 23 last year. Anyway, checked to see if this was available online and the places that had it were asking mid-$80s! Sheesh, I mean, I understand there’s shipping, tariffs, taxes, etc. but the middleman markups are just killer! [gonzo]
