Didn't you know he is a private culinary chef trained at Le Cordon Bleu?

You just picked what I'll be making tomorrow. Chicken Cordon Bleu. I love that dish and haven't made it in a couple of months. Gotta get some Swiss cheese though.

Two hours out in the yard pulling weeds. Wife made a nice cool soba salad. Much appreciated. Gotta get back out there and finish the area I was working on then get to a few more areas and pull those bassturd weeds too. Gonna hafta re-apply the 50 spf sunscreen too. Probably mow the lawn tomorrow.

Cold Soba salad reminds me of when I lived in Japan. Darn good eats.

The older kid had a dance recital today. Basically, you sit through 2 hours of other people's kids dancing mostly badly to watch the three minutes of your kid dancing mostly badly. She love it though.

Also, the doughnut shop that has been under construction for over a year and is walking distance from my house finally opened, and they are giving away free donuts for a few weeks. I may need to double up on my heartburn meds. And possibly buy larger pants...

Good morning everyone
Beginning of a short work week for me leading into a little time off to spend getting things in order around the house, mainly honey do lists. To be followed by a short getaway to celebrate our 25th anniversary next week.

As time goes on you'll look back at this with tears in your eyes reminiscing and ask yourself... how did the years go by so fast? I still have videos of my daughter's dance recitals. They bring happy tears to my eyes. If only you could freeze the calendar and keep them young.

Kinda gray (or is it grey?) day today with on and off rain. Let Mother Nature wash the pollen out of the air and water the plants.

On the to do list is to visit a friend and "fix" his computer/monitor/TV. He has a smart TV that I set up as a mirror monitor from his computer. Dual screen so he can watch YouTube and stuff on his TV. Apparently the TV stopped mirroring his computer. Prolly an unplugged HDMI cable or he inadvertently changed something in the settings. It's happened before. I should just superglue the HDMI cables and lock him out from changing the computer settings. (Elderly friend who I consider as my MA father figure is technology challenged)

No biggie, gives me and him an excuse to hang out for a few hours.

Ditto.

Another older friend called and said her computer was hacked so I get to hang out with her to clean up whatever they did to her machine.

Note to anyone that uses e-mail or connected to the internet - DO NOT click on any link in an email or anything like that which comes from any source that you do not recognize. You can see the email address in the header of the email. You can see where the link wants to send you to by putting the mouse cursor over the link. If you don't know the address or the site it wants you to go to... DO NOT click on the link or attachment.

Your modem/router and WiFi has a firewall built into it (first line of defense the bad guys need to cross). Your computer software has a firewall built into it (second line of defense). If you click on the questionable link, you just opened a door for the bad person on the other side to get into your computer and anything connected to your network.

The number one source of being hacked or source of computer issues reside between the keyboard and the chair you are sitting in.
