Good morning folks,

Just got back from my conference and found out I have COVID. Probably gonna take a break from cigars until I can breath normally again. 😅

The Pinal County Department of Air Quality has issued an Ozone High Pollution Advisory for Pinal County.
This means that forecast weather conditions combined with existing ozone levels are expected to result in local maximum 8-hour ozone concentrations that pose a health risk. Adverse health effects increase as air quality deteriorates.

Persons intending to spend any time outdoors are instructed not to breathe…

You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded.

Hello.
85F and raining lightly as temperature drops for tomorrow. Lots of rain (10? inches over the next three days.)
Got yellow algae in the pool so I am going to shock it. Bought extra shock and salt in anticipation of the rain.
Still dragging a bit from sinus infection so I am taking it easy today...

I had the 301 Bookshelf models for many years. Amazing quality for what they were.

I was never much of a Bose fan but worked as a Christmas seasonal in 1996 at The Bose Store. After demoing them a few times and meeting Dr. Bose, I got a much better respect for the engineering and well, the sound. Thought the 301s were pretty decent for their size and considered purchasing a pair to be my secondary speakers with my employee discount but ended up getting a nice oak finished stereo rack instead.

As it turns out, after Christmas, I found out the GM had brought me in to see if I was a good fit and offered me a job…but, I had started a new job in September and taken a pay cut and the job he was offering would have been another pay cut. I had to politely decline.

Ultimately it was the right decision as the store moved from town out to the Kapolei area and would have been a heck of a round trip everyday. Then, like many b&m stereo equipment stores, they closed after a few years.

Good Tuesday Afternoon to All! It's 91° but only 43percent humidity, not too bad. Breakfast, range trip, including sighting in my wife's Birthday present, a new scope, state primary voting, lunch done, time to take out the trash and relax.

Cigar and a pour of Bulleit 12 yr rye in the sunroom. Just as I finished the rain started up... as soon as I hear Tank barking I muted the TV and hear the patter on the roof.

He hates rain...

😂 I get your point, but she asked for a better scope and it's on her rifle. Funny thing, the scope cost almost twice as much as the rifle. I bought the scope from B&H Photo. Had to wait for their observation of Shabbat to place the order.
