Just got back from a 7 hour drive from Virginia. Anyone know how they can "enforce speed limit by aircraft"? I was seeing those signs all over the place. Seems like a waste of taxpayer dollars to me.

What a week. Monday through Friday was 16hr shifts, Saturday was 9.5 hrs for a total of 89.5 hours doing storm power restoration, I was tired. Woke up feeling good, decided to take the family to Santa's village amusement park. Happy Sunday y'all!

Been a busy few days. One day of 10 miles of walking (mostly on purpose). A float down a river for the 27th consecutive summer with three guys I've known since the 1980's and now, I'm going to put myself in the recharging station (bed) for a new day tomorrow.

What a week. Monday through Friday was 16hr shifts, Saturday was 9.5 hrs for a total of 89.5 hours doing storm power restoration, I was tired. Woke up feeling good, decided to take the family to Santa's village amusement park. Happy Sunday y'all!

Morning folks. I may need to get Cheno over to my place for storm damage. We had a big thunder storm blow through last evening, more hat then cowboy, but the pool is a mess. Don't ever get a pool, they are more maintenance than a Ram truck with a tranny issue.

The agency I worked for had a patrol area that included some spots right at the end/beginning of the flightline for Davis Monthan AFB which was basically 90% A-10s at the time.

During radar gun qualification school, we were specifically warned about aiming the radar guns at A-10s on takeoff/landing...
