^ I've wondered about MACS. No info on smoking meats or Tank updates in a while.

Thirsty Thursday it is, RAM. DED recommended that I drink a bottle of cold Champagne. I may as well do that tonight.

The weather here seems to wanna match the title of this thread...another triple digit heat day...prolly spend some time in the pool with my son's kids ...we're babysitting while he's at work and his wife is traveling to Texas to visit her brother whose wife is expecting a baby girl in October...

92 here. Saw a little alligator swim by earlier.

Still got two hours of conference calls today.

I got sent to help at our small hospital in East Chicago today. Not entirely sure why. We were done at 10am and the chairs aren't comfortable enough for 6 hours of sitting. I don't know how the regular crew here deals with doing nothing.

My son has an uncanny ability to have motorized things break while he's using them.

My mower has been nearly fail free during the 4 seasons I've used it. He started mowing this year and has thrown the belt twice, got two flat tires, and today the throttle lever to cable connection snapped.

I got home and mowed, vice grip on the cable "fixed" it. Found his go kart parked way out back. He's snapped multiple chains on that thing and I don't know how. I assumed it was the chain, but the chains were intact. The connector between throttle pedal and cable snapped...

He started riding my pitbike this summer. Snapped the chain, broke the brake caliper, and the clutch blew up into 20 pieces. I ride the hell out of that thing at every track I go to and I've done NOTHING to it except change the tires a few times and occasionally the oil. He rides it, parts fail.

I was shocked at how much nicer things were looking at least around the hospital. A lot fewer front yard chain link fences, lanws all mowed. There's new construction going in an area they tore down some old stuff.

Still smells like oil refineries.

My son did the same thing with yard tools... broke strings on mowers and weedeaters, was using my gas powered pole saw like an axe and strippedthe gears, broke sledge hammer and axe handles.. the list goes on...
Now that he's got his own home and tools I've been tempted to go break some of his stuff.. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Tried to make Cheeseburger egg rolls for dinner tonight. Turned out pretty good. Even the kids ate em.

I think Iโ€™d rather try an egg roll cheeseburger. Who knows though. Might be tasty.
