Yes... I'm not sure what they get paid, but they mostly work for tips. So... my cut of the tips, plus a free trip for each day I work would be sufficient. It's a long day.
Arrive early, prep the boat, cut the bait, set out all the rods, load the ice...
Drop and raise the anchor at each stop, help people with tangles, unhook fish...
Clean the boat with seawater on the way back... then do it again with freshwater once we get in... and put all the gear away.
