Mom is much improved, but is not allowed to bear more than 20lbs on her affected side yet . Ortho PA said two months no weightbearing in a skilled care facility. We see the ortho again for her on Tuesday and get an official update.My shoulder surgery was 2 days ago. I am progressing real well.

getting old really sux...we all will get there but each one of us will confront that demon at different stages of our lives...at 71, as I roll downhill, I can see it approaching, but I still have the energy to push back...
When I was young and rolled downhill, that would get me dizzy. But I'd get up and walk a bit wobbly back up the hill and do it again. That might explain some of the characteristics of who I am now and what... umm... ummm... I forgot what I was saying.OH! look a squirrel!
