I'm not sure a sponge bath from a beautiful nurse would be beneficial for heart rate or BP issues.
With that said, I'm not sure a sponge bath from a ugly nurse would be beneficial for heart rate or BP issues.
As I think about it, I'm not sure a sponge bath from a male nurse (handsome or ugly) would be beneficial for heart rate or BP issues.

Just to be safe, maybe just skip the sponge baths altogether. Maybe just put you in a shower and hose your down.

On a serious note, I hope they find out the issue and can fix it.

If he closes his eyes, betcha MACS would appreciate a sponge bath lovingly administered regardless of the provider...

hope you find the cause of your BP issues and get them resolved quickly, Bro!

I'm not enjoying this aging thing...

Cath went well. Didn't find any issues, so it ain't the ticker. Of course the doctor just wrote a script for BP med... not even bothering to wonder WHY my BP jumped all of a sudden.

Checked it this morning... damn near normal. Heart rate is at 60 right now. What'll happen if I actually take the med she prescribed? Will it get too low?

Doctors, IMHO, are too quick to treat a number with a medicine instead of bothering to find out the cause. It's like turning on the bilge pump when there's a hole in your boat. Sure... you bailed the water out, but the fookin hole is still in the boat!

True, sometimes you gotta lean on the exam room door and ask'm questions. Deep down most want to do better, but the pressure of too many patients and making money gets in the way of good doctoring.

OTOH, is there a super hot chick doing nude yoga along your dog walk route?

I recommend group therapy or a welding class at the local junior college, activities that require you to clear your mind while participating.

I got an alert for the phrase "super hot chick doing nude yoga", what's up?

Anyone have eyes on her yet? Lat/Long, cross streets, any geolocation at all?

This better not be a false alarm... I already cleared my calendar.

bout 25 years ago, while out on my nightly walk, I inadvertently saw a very good looking lady, late 30s, in a second floor bedroom window getting undressed...the window was about 40 feet from the walkway...she was facing a mirror on the wall so I had a view of her right side...she was well proportioned...she took off her bra and massaged her breast...I tried to avert my eyes and began to turn my head but I think she caught me looking...on the return trip, the window was closed and the light was out. For years, until we moved, I walked by that apartment complex but never saw that window open again.

Stopped at the feed mill up north. The guy I know has A-fib just sold the mill to his son.

His wife told me he has been in A-fib for the last two days straight. He was not only there, he was in the milling area bagging 100 lb bags of grain amidst corndust everywhere.

He's 62 and been doing that all his life.

Don't like the path he's on.

Time only moves in one direction. I have another member in my pack will not likely last the week. My adopted Mom when I moved to MA after college. Not really or legally adopted, she's my brother's mother-in-law. When I moved out here, she watched over me like a blood relative would.

93 yrs old so I guess it's her time to pass to the next level. Her body is shutting down. If you believe in heaven, Anna has the keys.

Dammit, now I'll have another adult watching me from above. I better clean up my act.

Robert does have a great point.

Example: For 13 years, I ignored the medical advice to do something about my cholesterol.

Eff' em. (Insert young and dumb monolgue here). I was right, because I only listened to myself, not to other perspectives or considering alternatives.

Now I have arteries filled with concrete, and that might not even be my biggest medical issue to be concerned with.

If you've got all the answers, you don't need anyone else.

What's a second opinion for if one doctor has all the answers?

I don't have all the answers. That's why I went to the doctor in the first place. But to ignore that my BP just suddenly went from perfect to not so good in a matter of days and just throw medicine at it instead of trying to find out WHY it did that doesn't sit well with me.

And there's a growing number of MD's who agree with me on that.

Suneel Dhand MD, Shawn Baker, MD, Ken Berry MD, Philip Ovadia MD (cardiologist).

I didn't ignore advice thinking I had the answers. I've been taking my meds as prescribed, even though I don't like it.
