Almost packed for our trip.

Got my cigars packed and some clothes. Ran out of underpants didn't even have a pair for after I shower today so doing some laundry. Swimsuit packed, hopefully the resort has heated pools... they don't advertise them as heated tho.

Washed the dog. She's got a bunch of tumors been growing for the last 5 years, one of them erupted about 6mo ago so basically has a continuously draining open wound on her back. Cleaned her up as best I could she's gonna stay with gramma for a week and gramma's a clean freak so she's not happy about that. Poor old puppy dog still gets around and her brain's still sharp so it's not quite time to put her down but I think that was probably her last bath. 15 years with the old girl.

Cleaned up the basement some. Tomorrow after work I do my weekend chores and question my packing.

Tomorrow is match day for my doctoral internship (similar to residency). At around 8am, I will get an email that says "congratulations, move to ______ city and work for a year, then leave"
