Morning folks. Gonna be digging up the front yard today to hopefully find and repair a water leak. It is showing up on both sides of the three-wide driveway so this could get costly real quick.

Bummer DED.. that happened at the MIL'S place a couple years ago.. the inserted 1/2" pex pipe into the existing 3/4" waterline that ran under the driveway.. I don't think it affected her water pressure but I don't know.. saved her a bunch of money tho.. 😟

Hope something similar can be done. Fortunately, this only affects the irrigation systems front and back and not the mainline to the house.

More or less what I was going to say. Our one inch PVC water line took a 3/4" PEX inset perfectly... well, except for the two absolutely unnecessary 90 degree elbows. 😣 😣 😣 Our neighbor ended up getting in a specialist to locate a break in their driveway/parking area. It's been repaired and they now have a four. by five foot section of new concrete.

Good Luck DED!

Ouch. I had to do that on my 2x wide driveway a few years back. Luckily the builders ran the funny pipe in a 2" PVC conduit under the driveway, so I just had to pull new funny pipe through and reconnect at both ends. Lot's of work, but not a ton of damage.

Hope yours is easy.

We have one at the top of our driveway. The gas company and the fiber optic installers appreciated it.

Turned out that was all required. Company called Controlled Rain came out and said our builder ran 2" conduit under the driveways so it took him about 1 hour to open both ends and pull the old 1" line out and replace. All good!

36 degrees, but sunny. 66 at the end of the afternoon.

Reminds me (a little) of a December day in AZ.

Only one of those AZ December days started at 39 and ended at 90.

Made a real impression on a 16 year old 8track.

Have a peaceful, safe and blessed day.
