Bummer DED.. that happened at the MIL'S place a couple years ago.. the inserted 1/2" pex pipe into the existing 3/4" waterline that ran under the driveway.. I don't think it affected her water pressure but I don't know.. saved her a bunch of money tho.. 😟

Turned out that was all required. Company called Controlled Rain came out and said our builder ran 2" conduit under the driveways so it took him about 1 hour to open both ends and pull the old 1" line out and replace. All good!
