Dang…I posted the results but I don’t see them. Let me try again.
My guess:
No. 1 - mid
No. 2 - yard
No. 3 - primo
Actual:
No. 1 - primo Asylum 10 11/18, Honduran Puro
No. 2 - yard Hoill Everyday Hustle Honduran Puro
No. 3 - mid Southern Draw Jacob’s Ladder PBL Maduro wrapper w/Nic fillers
Once again I got 1 out of 3. My biggest surprise is that the Everyday Hustle is not Sumatra. I thought the sour, ashy taste was a dead ringer. Also surprised that the Asylum was PBL due to the heavy presence of cinnamon. My favorite was the Southern Draw and least favorite the Everyday Hustle.
Thanks SOB for the cigars and the goodies. Dan, this was a fun exercise, thanks for organizing it again.

Those SD Jacob's are really good, no surprise you liked it.
A surprise though was the Everyday Hustle. While I've only had a few, ive been on the hunt for leftovers ever since. Unfortunately out of production.

Nice reviews Jeebs.
Once you get one out of place you can't do any better than one out of three.
Good read brother.

Nice reviews Jeebs. I'd hoped the Asylum construction would've treated you better. I tend to enjoy their annual releases.
EH was kind of cheating as yard gars go. Better quality than most cheap smokes, but I got 'em for $2/per, so it counts IMO.
I continue to slack, but have one of Tiver's left to smoke and I'll get reviews posted. Apologies for continued delay.
All of that said, what in the holy hell is going on with the forum format? No bueno

Ok, I've done got it all written up. I'm sorry one last time for the continued delays.
Cigar #1 – Bogus X Edicion Limitada (Tiver’s label. Not my judgment of the cigars sent)
- Appearance
About a 6x45ish. Light to med brown in color. Fairly smooth with small veins. Closed
foot and the head has a twist but no cap. Like it may have had a pigtail, but was clipped,
possibly for deceptive purposes.
- Burn
Tight line. No touchups throughout. Nice draw from the start. Ash was pale and firm, like
my….. well, you know.
- Flavah
Some white pepper, kind of a sweet caramel, some creaminess, notes of cedar and
maybe oak, a tang that’s not quite citrusy, and some malt. Transitioned throughout with
some of these coming to the fore and then fading away again.
- Overall
A dang good smoke that gave me Warped vibes. No guesses on blend. I dub this
bogus smoke the premium

Cigar #2 – Bogus XX Edicion Limitada
- Appearance
Looks like a romusto. Maybe a 5x52ish. Traditional cap this time with an open foot.
Dark brown in color. Seams were tight, but wrapper bumpy with larger veins
- Burn
Line was funky. Regular correction required. Wide open draw. Ash was dark and flaky
- Flavah
Black pepper blasting. Some notes of chocolate, coffee, and cedar but no real balance.
Retrohale quickly became painful.
- Overall
This one was a pretty harsh smoking experience. Maybe one of the AJ house blends
that AJ hasn’t actually had a hand in for several years. I’m going with Yard Gar

Cigar #3 – Bogus XXX Edicion Limitada
- Appearance
Looks like a toro. I’d say 6x52ish. Med brown wrapper. Kind of wrinkled and rustic, but
small veins and tight seams. Standard cap & open foot.
- Burn
Draw was pretty open. Line was a bit wavy. Only a couple minor touchups needed. Ash
was a light gray and a bit on the flaky side
- Flavah
Some pepper, but much more in balance than Bogus XX. A marshmallowy sweetness,
and some notes of cherry and raisin move in and out. A bit of cocoa & coffee are
present as well.
- Overall
Enjoyed this smoke. Had some tasty things moving around here and there. I’m going to
say mid-tier, since the first smoke was still my favorite. I can't say I have any realistic guesses as far as manufacturer

And after peeking in the super secret envelope, it looks like I got a Warped La Colmena, an MF El Centurion H-2k-CT, and a Cohiba NIcaragua. I'm guessing my tier rating was accurate, unless Tiver had different thoughts. Many thanks for the smokes. I always enjoy this trade and will work on punctuality in the future. Thanks to Danm for organizing the event.

The Cohiba N52 doesn't sound like it did too well for you. I thought that might turn out to be a better smoke. I have sent a couple out in trades (probably nOOb PIB) and I was surprised that it was as well received as it was. They have probably 2 years on them. I haven't had one in a while, but thought it might end up being a surprise. It was the intended yard 'gar.
The Centurion fit right in as the mid as did the La Colmena as the premium. Your reviews were spot on, Dan.

I've enjoyed them in the past. This one just had something against me. Or I spoiled myself by smoking the best one first and my taste buds rebelled
