First puff tasted like a blackened blister on a hot dog. Bizarre. But then it went back to being a cigar.
It took almost to first ash fall to get where I wanted to be. It was bitter on the lips, astringent, woody but I kept on.
Big pepper big spice over sweet cedar. Very bright retro like a citrus bite. I got that sensation in the back corner of my jaw triggering salivation. It's an intense cigar. Texture got a bit richer but it's still pretty dry even though it's making me salivate.
Halfway it kinda flattened out or my tongue got burnt out. It's an intense cigar. Smoked a bit more but didn't nub it. Texture lost the dryness at halfway.
It's good. Don't know it's true age, bought "old packaging" Illusiones the boxes that had dates were all 2021-23. This was a fiver and the first I've tried so I don't even have another data point to compare tasting notes.
