Argument?
I made a theoretical situation, and gave my opinion as to what would be concluded by some on the left.
My point wasn't whether or not there is racism. There is.
My point was simply that the race card gets played too often and for the wrong reasons. As numerous posters have stated (perhaps more clearly than I), if ANYTHING negative happens towards a person of color, it is perceived as being race related.
Heck, even when good things happen the race card is played. Remember a couple years ago when Hally Berry and Denzel Washington won acadamy awards.
My thoughts were "I like Denzel, and I love Hally"
The headlines were "Blacks win first Oscar" or something like that.
Yet, I'm the biggoted white guy if I think negative thoughts when I see a group of young kids, trash talking, pants below the knees, listening to hip hop gangsta rap.
Oops. Almost forgot. I'm only evil if my negative thoughts are regarding those same kids AND they happen to be black.
Truth is, I think the same negative thoughts when they're white. But then I'm simply out of touch with todays youth.
I am a partner in my company.
If I fire a white employee based on poor performance, it ends there. If I fire a black employee, there's a risk that I can be accused of racism even if the firing is based on poor performance.
These are merely one man's opinions, based on known facts. If I stated something that isn't correct, whether you agree or not with my conclusion, please correct me.
As for being an ass, I didn't perceive it that way at all. Heck, my first name is Ass.
You can call me Mr. Hole.
