Although I have called for President George W Bush's resignation in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, I will say he did a much better job with the photo ops with Hurricane Rita. With that being said, I do find fault with the world shadow government's handling of the situation.
In my humble opinion, I think that the world shadow goverment, specifically the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, and the International Monetary Fund, did a horrible job of dealing with Hurricane Rita and the aftermath. Where was Kofi Annan when all of Houston was backed up for hundreds of miles in traffic? It is almost if he didn't care and he darn well should have known oil was involved and he needed to be more engaged in the situation.
At this point, I see no other option but to call for Kofi Annan's resignation as Secretary General of the United Nations.
