The basic rule for using the Forum is that you use good judgment - so all we ask is that you keep your comments reasonable. Some examples of unreasonable messages may include the use of profanity, advertising or commercial purposes, competing web sites, and disparaging an individual, a company or another website.

I can understand why cooldude would make that mistake, as he already admitted that he was a 'rookie' (who didn't read the Guidelines, hehehe ...)

But SteveS ... ***Slim's shaking his head looking down with his hand over his eyes*** 😉

The rules state:
Some examples of unreasonable messages MAY include the use of profanity, advertising or commercial purposes, competing web sites, and disparaging an individual, a company or another website.
The word "May" is critical here.
They do not FORBID the casual and informational use of competative sites, they merely ask us to use common sense.
The above posts do not in any way promote the competative sites, and are no more disparaging than any other negative opinions expressed on these boards.
Don't be so trigger happy all the time.

... except for the fact, that in every other post I have read over the past few years that had a competitors name in it, the name eventually was deleted, or the thread pulled.

That says it right there ...

Trigger happy all the time??? Give me a break. I've been restraining myself for quite awhile now ... and seldom get involved in minutiae. Haven't you noticed?

Besides, I wouldn't want you to think I've gone soft ... 😉
