WOW! Worth every penny! That Tree House would be my personal cigar lounge. And that "barn" would be a great woodshop.

I can only dream! That's the type of place I would move to if I hit the lottery. Seclusion.

Although quite a bit smaller, this house has a real resemblance to John Cash's main home on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonvile, Tennessee (just outside of Nashville). John's home has a lot of natural rock in the construction, along with the wood, and his furnishings were virtually all antiques. But it's amazing how the interior shots, and the property remind me of his home. Of course the lake is much larger. I'd love to live on this property without changing a thing.

As close as the house is to Madisonville (Kentucky), and noticing the unusually large numbers of pine trees around the house, I'd say the odds are pretty good that some of the property is reclaimed strip mine, which means the house may have been built on backfill.

No thanks.

I could be wrong, but the odds are in my favor.

The deer don't seem to care, and I have to agree with them.

The house is gorgeous and the land is beautiful. Fish and game will be plentiful - you could probably live off the land there, only going to the store to buy ammo.

Over priced for Madisonville. Nice digs but you could buy the land and build the home for less. I live in KY and I know you could find better inexpensive land and build a nicer home for less than the $1 Million.

Just what are those deer expecting. Times have changed, from the days deer just expected to be shot and ate. Now you gotta have some sort of fancy deer stand, or they won't hang around. Upity deer now a days. No wonder I can't afford deer hunt'in no more. They gone to the other side of the tracks.

Oh...what I could do with 300 acres! That's gorgeous!!!

The house, however, would get bulldozed in a second. Log cabin is DEFINITELY not my style - much prefer Tudor or Victorian. One hell of an outhouse though...love the claw foot tub! 0:o}

$950,000...WITH 300 acres...eeeeeesh, and someone called it OVER priced. Yikes. Oh well it IS in Kentucky.

Did any one else find the bottle of Blantons?

I hear ya Beat! We are conditioned to CA prices though, where a cool million gets you 3,000 square feet and a neighbor on all 4 sides... On a 1/4 acre if you're LUCKY.

I still think the house and property is beautiful.
