Here in Jersey, it seems like anything goes.

Coming from CT where you can't buy after 8:00 PM and on Sundays / holidays, I was amazed that I could buy liquor on Sundays and that I could walk into certain bars and walk out with a six pack. There's also a drive-in package store where you drive your car into a bay and they'll load it for you.

I remember living in AZ and leaving the bars at last call (12:30) to get to the drive-thru (like the fast food drive-thru) liquor stores that closed at 1:00 AM.

Massachsetts just started selling booze on Sundays.

The "blue laws" have been laxed and common sense has taken over (somewhat).

The local Packee always has great sales, so I alternate my beer and wine purchases based on what's on sale. Usually Sam Adams Boston Lager every other trip.

Sierra Nevada makes a GREAT Summer brew. Look for it next year, since it shouldn't be on the shelves any longer.

Yeunglings is indeed the oldest brewery, and I believe that the Schell Brewery in New Ulm, MN is the oldest continually operating brewery west of the Mississippi.

Been to both. I love history.

I just drank some Black Butte Porter from a brewery in Bend, Oregon.

Does that sound strange to anyone else?
