Slim, dont you mean the "Saddle Rack"? I live in San Jose & never heard of the "Saddle Back". I could be wrong though. BTW, the "Saddle Rack" closed a few years ago.

Stopped a couple of stars on traffic stops but really shouldn't give any names..One's a prolific director/writer/actor and the other is a former head coach of a professional Chicago team (Todog would love to meet him!...LOL)

For all cigar buffs, On a trip to the Bahamas, after dinner at Graycliff Hotel, I met Avalino Lara in the back room rolling cigars and smoked a freshly rolled Graycliff Pirate. This was back in "97 before Graycliff cigars were released. Sitting in "living room" drinking coffee and smoking that stogie was great!!

Charlie, You're correct about "Da Coach"...The other (another hint) is the writer of Caddyshack and Groundhog Day and starred with his good friend Bill Murray in several movies..LOL
Seemed like a really nice guy too!

Out of the famous people I've met, the most famous person is probably Steven Spielberg.

My husband worked at a house in La Jolla formerly owned by George Lucas...the new owner swapped out his stereo system and we now have George's old system installed in our downstairs...

Does that qualify for anything?

My son got to to "shoot" (he is a photographer) Frank Sinatra at the opening of the Cerritos Performing Arts Center. He was backstage and met Arnold Schwartzneigger and Clint Eastwood at the same event! Does that count?

Muhammad Ali at the philadelphia airport in 1977 I think. I was there applying for a job and walked out and saw him
sitting with his bodyguard. I made small talk and got his autograph. He was a big guy but his bodyguard made him look like a shrimp.

Oh, I forgot one. Back in the early 80's I did a job at Billy Joel/Christy Brinkleys midtown (NY) apartment. (I'm an Electrician) Billy was not there either of the two days, but Christy was and was the nicest, most down to earth person you would want to meet. No fancy help, she made us lunch and brought us drinks (coke, ice tea) during the workday. Was very nice to look at I might add!!

I'm in. I saw Danny Thomas in a casino Reno in the 70's.

I was an early teen and somewhat intimidated to say HI, so I never actually "met" him, but we made eye contact and I knew he knew I knew whow he was.
