Charlie, Im sure that you are correct about Lotts age at the time Strom ran for pres. I didnt mean that he endorsed him at "that time" way back then. I realize that these few endorsements were done many years later.

Lott has said the very same things before and don't think for a minute he didn't know what he was talking about!

He thought he was speaking in a "safe room" and could get away with his "lovefest" of the "good old days"!

He should resign from the position, and not let it damage the Party. He said it, and I don't care how many times he says he's sorry for it. He must step down. It's honorable, and it would show EVERYONE that he truly was apologizing for his words.

I might agree with you about Lott, but if you don't even watch Fox News then you wouldn't know!

Even Left-Wing bastion Ellen Ratner wrote a glowing review of Fox News and the way it conducts itself as Fair and Balanced.

O'Reilly is opiniated, and I applaud him for it. The ONLY time I've ever seen him cut somebody off was when they wanted to circumvent or detract from the original question or topic. He's a wonderful author too!
