tey, your posts in English are as interesting as in Spanish. At least to those that don't speak Spanish.

Either way, not worth going to a link.

Now why don't you look down to where your feet is

That U.S. soil that makes you take **** for granted

If not for Santa Ana, just to let you know

That where your feet are planted would be Mexico.

Correcto...

Tey, en esto esta muy correcto. pero Ud no puede cambiar la historia, Mexico perdio y EU gano, y fue por los pendejados de Mexico. recueda una cosa amigo, que EU fue el major amigo del Mexicano!

The United States of America owes it's greatness to all the immigrants that preceded us. It has never been easy and should never be easy to emmigrate, as that insures only the most motivated (the best and brightest) come here to build for the next generation. All immigrants have suffered huge difficulties, especialy non English speakers. But as each group has established them selves and been woven into the fabric of this country the discrimination has shifted to the next group as it will with the Mexican people.

Since 9/11 the world has changed, and we as Americans have a right and obligation to control our borders. If Mexicans or any body else insistes on entering our country illegally they know the challenges and consicuences that go with the territory.

Tey,

I feel badly for you. Your anger is obvious, and it has affected how you view the world around you.

You see everything as Us vs. Them, and you're always on the losing side.

I've got a very close friend who was born in Portugal. He obviously speaks Spanish, with English as his second language. He's fairly dark skinned, and can be very easily mistaken for a Mexican.

I asked him if he was EVER called a "****". Nope.

I asked him if he ever thought he was looked down to due to his speech and nationality. He said "only once" and he chaulked it up to stupidity.

He grew up in Southestern Massachusetts, but spent a good deal of time in Boston when he was in his late teens/early 20s. Boston has a reputation as a "racist" town.

Yet, he's one of the happiest people I know.

I don't doubt that you've been met with many negative feelings from those around you. Look what you stir up on these boards.

The point is this:

The life you lead creates your own destiny. Your constant negativity breeds hatred more than any off-colored remark made in jest or to make a point. The fact that you are so quick to pull the race card proves to me that many of the so-called bigots you meet are likely just people whom you don't like and therefore you label them as such.

I would never claim to be able to prove this.

But it's painfully obvious when I read virtually anything from you.

You really need to lighten up.

PS: defending illegals is not the same as lightening up...

PPS: smoking a nice Casa Torano is a good start.

Perhaps his friend was bilingual, Tey.

I spoke two languages- English, and Wisconsinite.

I'm still waiting to find out what you preconceived notions of me are, due to me being from Wisconsin.

My bad.

That's pretty embarrassing.

It's funny, because I know some spanish (from junior high school) and we often compare the words, seeing how similar or differnt they are from each other. I'll do that when he talks to his brother and I try to understand what he's saying.

I don't know what I was thinking.

Must still be upset about my Patriots team!

I'm such a bonehead sometimes.
