Meh, I personally hate them. Kind of a Metal Lite. "Just like Heavy Metal, but with just 1 calorie". Very much a piss off your parents, teenage angst band. At least in my opinion.

Nah....Slipknot went downhill fast. They went away from their roots and began making more radio-friendly music after their first album. But, that's the way most bands go. Ah well, the first album is epic. Brutal, in fact.

I love Slipknot... Still a big fan and always will be... Their alter ego Stonesour is a nice compliment for the softer side of rock aswell...

Slipknot went the way of Stone Sour. Cory has a great voice, and Stone Sour really let him use it to their advantage. Throw in the fact that Stone Sour was much more radio friendly and likely resulted in more cash....and it was only a matter of time before Slipknot started to sound more and more like Stone Sour. I saw Slipknot with Primer 55 and Biohazard many years ago....probably in 1999 or 2000. One of the craziest concerts I've ever been to. However, this concert was eclipsed by: Otep, Chimaira, Trivium, American Head Charge, and devildriver. That show was insane.

Kombat - You can't go wrong with Korn's first two albums. I must have seen them tour about 15 times. At Woodstock, the ground shook when they broke out with Blind. I still get chills just thinking about it....being 10 people from the stage and protecting my sister for 60 minutes of chaos.

I think I am getting back into Nirvana again. Pandora has been set to the Nirvana channel for over a week now, and I just heard Aneurysm. Amazing. Been waiting to hear Sliver for a week now....hopefully it'll pop up soon instead of all this horrible Third Eye Blind crap that I promptly give the 'thumbs down.' Third Eye Blind is akin to Nirvana? Fail. If Nickelback comes on, I might throw my phone.
