Maher had higher than a 2.0gpa and can speak proper english, which, according to conservative logic, makes him dumber than GWB. You see, they've turned the world on its head. When you see that, you'll be able to understand everything.

I think you see that...is that what you mean when you said it is all in perspective now? Yes, an upside down perspective. Took me forever to get that.

Yep, whatever parameters that are needed to make GWB "smart", are now in perspective...

Maher has talent.
His show didn't suck.
He was oftentimes funny.
But he didn't exude intelligence.
Not because I often disagreed with his views. Because his "facts" were mostly rehearsed.
I don't know the guy. He may be a Rhode Scholar. But to suggest that he is intelligent simply because you agree with him is as insane as your claim to the contrary.

I like Rush Limbaugh. He's entertaining. He's Informative. But you'll not likely hear me referring to him as "smart". Why? Because his IQ need not come into play in that line of work. Not entirely at least.

These show-biz types have all their facts pre-administered before they take the stage.

Perhaps there is some middle ground here: Let's just say that Bill Maher is every bit as intelligent as Dennis Miller...

I wouldn't say that I always agree with him but I do think he's intelligent. You're right though, all of the facts that the hosts use are well rehearsed, but I think Rush and Maher are both good at going beyond the rehearsal.

I liked PI, so I'll watch his new show tonight and see if my opinion changes...

th rason we don't see much of dennis miller is because he was too full of himself. early on he was funny, but his references were all inside references that he assumed only he knew. what was monday night football thinking.

i think monday night football is perfect now, it's football, it does not need comedy relief.

Don't have to agree with any of them to see that Maher, Limbaugh, and Miller are not dummies.
