Rookie, my intent was to point out that the Taurus IS inferior. Just didnt want to rip the heck out of it in case someone here owned one.

Of course I know the difference. Look at which one I own!

I am thinking about getting a Taurus Milenium 9mm for the wife. My only concern is it is DAO.
Anybody have any input, good, bad or indifferent?

I own a Taurus PT-92 bought in '87 I believe. This was not too long after Taurus had bought all the tooling and specs from Beretta. I have shot 3,000-4,000 rounds thru this gun and have only had one jam. Which was due to the new handload I was working with ( I forgot to taper crimp the case after seating the bullet.)Checked out the rest of the clip and found all were like that. Lesson learned. I would recomend a Taurus to somebody looking to save a little money.
