Do a Google search on the 'Boston Pocket V-Cutter', and check out those ... AND THE PRICES!

... this one is almost identical, if not exactly the same thing, just different wood!

Slim,

Thanks for the info. Bought 2 for myself and 2 more for friends. They have some really good prices there.

Checked out the Boston Pocket V Cutter site and it was $124.95. A little rich for my blood!

osage --- that site was just an example of a 'high-priced' point of reference only ... LOL!

In a previous post of mine a little ways up the thread, I talked about an identical cutter of the Boston Pocket V-Cutter that could be had 'on sale' for $19, the only difference being is only wood it came in was teak !!!

So far, I've had amost a dozen folks email me for the URL ...

Slim,
email sent.
This will get me back in good graces with the wife. She picked out all the furniture in our house and it's all teakwood! (except my humi...is that furniture?) :~)

Thanks for the info Slim,
I got this v-cutter and used it on a box pressed Buc Full Sail the other night... cut thru it like a hot knife thru butter. Only got one, but maybe will buy another for spare.

Anyone else use this yet??

Haven't gotten mine yet. Low, when did you recieve yours?

I recently received two more myself ...

... one thing I noticed though, is the cut on the two 'newer' ones doesn't give as deep a 'V' cut as the one I've had for awhile.

That really isn't a noticeable problem ... but it looks to me like they aren't cutting the 'bowl' in the wood, as deeply as they had on the older models ... and it effects the ring gauge of the cigar it will comfortably cut.

The 'bowl' on my older one seems to be able to accommodate and cut a larger gauge cigar a little better, but that just may be me.
