Recently acquired a new house and fortunately has a huge gameroom upstairs that was perfect to put the new pool table. I would love to smoke some favorites without smoking up the house. I know many of you have experience with this and I would appreciate any advice that can get me smoking during 9 ball!!!

In My home I use a combination ozone generator and Ionizer. It works really well. People are amazed that I smoke 2-3 cigars a day in my home office, and noone has ever said anything, until they notice the cigar butts in the ashtray.

I have a similar problem. Is there any particular model that you would recommend?

Get a ceiling/attic fan. Open the windows, herf away, then turn on the attic fan and suck it out. Of course, this limits indoor herfing to certain temperature ranges.

I have a living air model 880.
My aunt sells them, I think they are overpriced, just bought from her cause she's family.
Should be easy to find on the net.

We don't smoke indoors, but we do have an attic fan aka Mike's fart fan, in the hallway...

Boy, you turn that sucker on and it does just that...all hints of anything...GONE in a few secs!

Mike hooked it up to a timer switch so it can be on from a few minutes up to an hour...Home Depot a few years ago...price? somewhere between $99 and $299, I'm not sure.

In last month's issue of CA, they had an article about a guy that converted one of his extra rooms into a smoking room. Pretty interesting. Had some good tips.

I read it. He has a few million to toss around. Sounded like his smoking room cost as much as my house. The wall vent ideas were cool. That made a lot of sense.

Yeah, that guy did have a huge house. The two tips I walked away from the article with was:

1. The more "solid surfaces" the room has the less smoke will be absorbed. Ex: marble, tile, etc.

2. Fans are a good and cost effective solution to removing the smoke from the room. You dont have to install an elaborate $50,000 ventilation system to have a decent smoking room.
