I just won a 5 pack of these. I was wondering if anyone had any strong opinions either way. I've seen some good posts about Cusano and I enjoy full bodied/spicy cigars.

This was the first 5 pack I have won on CB about 2 months ago. The first 1 I smoked was very mild and I waited another month before smoking another. the second one kicked my butt. After about half I began wondering if I should be driving. Have three left in the humi, probabaly wait a few months before smoking another. I wonder which one I'll get then.

I don't like 'em. Harsh and one dimensional.

Thanks dawg and Gecko, I'll give um a try. It's always good for trades if it doesn't blow my skirt up.

Robby, you do like me. Buy 1st, ask questions later. I dont know why I do that, but I've done it a lot. I guess its impulse buying. Hehe!

Sorry to ramble, especially since I've never smoked one. Let us know how you like em. I've had my eyes on those.

I agree with the dog about the harsh 1 dimensionalness (is that a word?) and with gecko about the ass kicking! So it has its pros and cons. I'm curious to see what a 6 month slumber will do. I've only tried 1 out of my 5-pack so I don't know about their consistency.

Me likem the corojo flavor and they're definately full bodied. If you like them try the CI Rare Corojo, they're a similar cigar and cheaper. Age them for six months and they're even better

I've never had a Cusano that I liked, and I've had just about every kind they make, even the expensive ones. I wish Cusano would have died with the boom!

efm, those CI Corojo's are very good. They have got to be one of the best smokes for the price! On cBid they are cheap, too!

I recieved a "premium" sampler pack, and one of those was in it. I thought "Whats this doing in here?" Well, I now know, its comparable to many premiums Ive smoked.

The Crojo is the best cigar Cusano makes IMHO and is one of my regulars. It is rather robust and though not real complex I find it most enjoyable. The CI Crojo is similar for much less but requires a little humi time to smooth the edges.

I've enjoyed the Cusano Corojo Toro and Churchill. I've got a stas hof them resting as we speak. They have improved with a little age on them for sure.

These are great--full-bodied but smooth, almost buttery in taste. I think this accounts for the punch that sneaks up on you with this one; the smooth taste fooled me into smoking my first one too fast, which left me counting stars for a while. This one deserves to be treated with respect.

How do they rate against the Bohemian Red? I rather like those, and was wondering if it was a 'typical' corojo flavor.

Hey CG,

Don't tell me there's another Gerber in our midst? Cool! I even play a bit of guitar. I'm in southern Cal. How about you?

I've never had a Bohemian red (they're damned hard to embarase) but I have lived a bohemian lifestyle as a youngster. Are the Boh's good? Is it good "where the Boh's are?" as Patsey would say?

I'm smoking one as I type, and it's not bad. A tad harsh, but not unpleasant. It's got a hint of being really good if aged more, so I'll leave the second one in the humi for a bit.

Off topic - I smoked my first Padron 5000 maduro yesterday - YUCK! Sour alternating with bitter. I hope it was just not ready for smoking because I've really enjoyed the 3000s and this was a MAJOR disappointment.

Oh well, that's why I keep smoking 'em. Some are good, some are sh*t.

Do they sell the CI Corojo's here on cbid? I did a search and didn't see any.

I thought the good ol' U.S. vanquished most of the Commies, now I hear 'bout these here Bohemians?
