Yeaup. My friend who told me about my source got two which he has agreed to trade to me. (he'll make out). So I'll end up with 4. I had to drive 35 fricken miles at lunch and find a place I've never been to get the two I have. It was a pain. When I brought them back to the office, people said "oh, cigar run?" I said, yeah, they're rare and special cigars, 15 bux a pop. Only 165 boxes made, drove 35 miles, etc... They just look at me and shake their heads...

They just don't understand...

I have friends in Denver running around tring to help me out, my fingers are crossed!

I called the closest shop to me (Arizona) that got them, and the owner said that 5 boxes came in ... and 5 boxes went out in the same day ...

... all to local customers. He said not a single one left the state, but he's had hundreds of calls from all over the country (and several international) inquiring about them!

Yes, Slim, I too called this afternoon. He said he sold them all the same day. I figured since I was here in AZ, I'd have a shot. Oh well. Collectors no doubt or people eager to post them for auction. Just can't see that they are better than the 858 so it must be the rarity in it all. Personally, I don't collect cigars; I smoke them. Interesting to see the outrageous prices on auction for a cigar someone will never smoke. What a waste. To each his/her own. I think I'll head on out to the patio now.

The gods must be laughing. $100 bucks for a cigar. Buy a few aged Habanos for that and forget you ever heard of 'em.
