In an previous post Robby said,
"Not what you may expect from me, especially given the title. I smoked a Hoyo de Monterrey Dark Sumatra Media Noche tonight and was underwhelmied. It was not a bad cigar, but it didn’t impress me. I don’t know if I’m just getting to be a cigar snob or what. Perhaps it was young. Maybe with some age, these would be good gars. I’ve just groan less tolerant of cigars that don’t cut the muster."

I bought 2 when they came out, smoked one and was not overly impressed. I forgot I had the other untill this post so I fired it up this evening. Age didn't seem to help. They aren't bad cigars, they just are somewhat one dimensional and bland to me. I'll stick to the Prensado Oscuro, that's a good HDM.

I like the taste. The few I've had burned kind of crappy which is always disappointing. Maybe the smaller ring gauge is better.
