OK, all you Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Hampton areas herfers it's about time we set up our own herf. Tarheel and HarleyRed will be back from their cruise around the end of June maybe we can shoot for early July. Location TBD but probably on the south side.

Just give me a shout when you guys have a good idea when you'll be back in port. A mini herf is better than no herf at all. We can get the wives involved in this too. Fried rice, pancit, lumpia, whatever.

Will do. I forgot that we have more in common than just cigars. I'll definitely let you know when we get home. Then we can decide when and where. There may be a few others that don't post that might want to join in.

I was listening to FM 99 on Friday and they mentioned you'd be back around the 25th. That's cool. You'll be home in plenty of time for the 4th of July. You got any plans for that weekend?

Yeah, it really blows. We are heading down there to help, but hopefully we will get the word that we're not needed, and can turn home. I certainly hope I don't run out of smokes. The guys from my local shop are going to send me another package, but we may not get any more mail until we get home. Hopefully, it won't take too long. See ya when we get home.

How does 4th of July weekend sound? I have duty on the 4th, but that saturday or sunday would work for me. My wife says that there are a few families getting together at the park that weekend. You know how Filipino families do. Drop me a line.

Well, my wife arranged to have a BBQ at NAS Oceana picnic area 3, on July 5th, from around Noon until the park closes. If anyone can make it, come on out.
