I'm changing some things in my home theater and was looking for a piece of wall art similar to this. I found this pic on various home theater sites, but they want over $200 for this thing. I was hoping to spend less than $100. I've been looking on Ebay, some local second-hand stores, etc. but havent had any luck.

When I say 'similar', I mean a piece of art that has a movie reel, filmstrip, etc. I'd like it to be metal but could go with something else if it fits well in the room.

I'd be happy to throw together a few 'gars as a finders fee if someone directs me to an item that I purchase.

Why don't you get some actual film reels and have it set up on the wall as such? 3-D, that would be pretty cool...

I think thats what I'm gonna do, E. Try to make one myself. If I come up with something cool, I'll post some pics.

As soon as the UPS guy gets here with my CBID shipment, I'll venture off to another place (besides CBID) that no grown man should ever be left alone at -- the home improvement store. If I look hard enough, I'm bound to find tools/supplies that I'll only use once on this project.

with the 3-D art inside...
