I just finished my first Bucanero Natural and I must say that while I have loved every Buc maduro I've smoked, I found the Natural quite uneventful. It was harsh at first with a very burnt taste and then smoothed out to a very bland taste as it progressed. It never had any of the complexity and attraction that the Maduros have.

Anyone else had a similar experience? Was this characteristic of the Naturals or just an outlier?

What Buc was it?? The el Capitan Natural or the Windjammer Natural?
I smoked a Windjammer Beli and thought it was pretty good. Kinda mild to medium with lots of creamy, smooth smoke.
I have not smoked an el Cap. Nat yet, it is in the humi resting.

It was a Windjammer Natural Robusto. Just didn't hit the spot for me for some reason.
