Why do cigars come 25 to a box? A lot of times the manufacturer will use a solid block of cedar to balance the box. Why not just ship 26 cegars and adjust the price? Or why not ship 26 and charge for 25?

... or why do some come three to a box, five to a box, uh ... eight to a box ... let me see ... ten, twenty ... did I leave any number out ... hummmmmmm, I must ponder this for at least another 30 seconds ...

Don't know the official reason, but I've heard that once upon a time the cigars were packed in rows of 8-9-8, much like some are today. (Also, thats the name of a brand which I've never tried). Anyhow, smokes being what they are, tradition stuck. It's like donuts. Why a dozen? and beer. Why 24? besides, I've received some brands where the block of wood smoked better than the cigars!

Why does it matter you only smoke one at a time.A much bigger Question why 10 hot dogs and only 8 Buns.Hmmmmmmm?

...and why not make rubber roads and asphalt tires? Where would the madness end! We could go on forever asking these questions. Instead....we choose to smoke, be it 5, 10, 20, 25, or 50....we just smoke. IMHO of couse 😉
