Trying to determine why these bands differ so much?
The top one is on an Oasis; the lower is on an Omni.

One on top is old band. Lower is new band.

That's what I thought it was. How long ago would you say they changed the style? The Oasis looks very well aged with some early plume crystals coating it.
Was gifted this one by Rob and he thought he had it down for about a year.

Anyone had the problem of these new bands putting little "nicks" in cigars next to them from moving/rotating/playing with them?

No nicks yet. But they are sitting at the bottom of the coolerdor for aging purposes.
The band change came 8-10 months ago?

Nice call Mean. I've been looking for the older band ones myself and buy them when I see them. They definitely have some age on them if you can find them. Got about 5 resting myself. Few torps and Omnis. The rest of my Omnis have the lower band. Really good smoke to cure that sungrown jones.
