CI and Cbid distibute this line of bundled cigars called "Original Cubans". Much of the verbage they use to describe this cigar is pretty enticing. Example:

Made in the Dominican Republic, these "Original" Cubans offer a perfect draw, sweet smooth power that pleases the palette and convinces the belly that these are the ‘real deal.’ Covered in a gorgeous ESG sun-grown wrapper leaf.....

I'm wondering if anyone's tried these puppies and what they compare too. I'm highly skeptical that they may be anything close to a real Cuban in flavor profile, but perhaps they remind you of something halfway decent.

Funny, they are a tasty smoke, but the short filler is annoying. Give them a try. Also, don't use a punch cutter on them, I had one develop a drip of the most vile tar in the end. It took days to get that taste out of my mouth.
While the above is true, and I was pleasantly surprised by them, I don't think I'll be buying more in the future.

Posted a thread on these a few days ago. I tried them and gave out several. None of us were able to smoke more than a third before tossing them. Some folks appear to like them such as rwestcot and Gonzo at CI.
