The Return of the Geeks has hit town . . .

More than 30,000 fans were expected to attend the four-day gathering, which started on Friday.

This guy was spotted at the Bar . . .

Too into their hobbies?

You mean like owning more cigars than you can smoke in a 3 year period? Caring for them meticulously? Trading them with people you've never met?

Talking about it endlessly on a forum much like this one?

I know what you mean, dude...

rofl to true mac.... better yet anybody near the east side go to otakon in baltimore. it's an anime convention(japanese cartoons/videogames) and they're freak'ing nutz. 50,000 people show up in line to get tickets that wrap around the convention center 2.5 times. if you get there early youll only stand there 6 hours in the blistering sun. they have a thing called a LARP(live action roll playing game) where people dress up as certain characters and act like they would in a roll playing formatted "city". i've gone the last few years. could never will myself to put a wig on and work on a costume for 3 months though. i mostly sit around checking up on upcoming releases of games and movies. drink my ass flat and look at artwork. ooo they turn there entire basement into a dealers room too. it's so large it's big enough to hold a 747 in it, start it going, take off, get 5 feet and smash into the wall. if your even interested in finding some real japanese samurai swords there you can find the guy. dont expect to pay less than 10k though for them. and they have really good inkstroke wallscrolls.

As the resident ninja, I believe Andytv has to approve the purchase of said swords not Ram.

Watching LARP folks is a freaking riot, as long as it's not the vampires.....They are in need of rubber rooms.

The funny part about this, Jet, is that I think a guy from my office went down to that show.

And no...it wasn't me.
