Meet Gracie. She's a 15 mo. old Yellow Lab. She was to be a "breeder" and has spent her life, so far, in a kennel. Her former owner realized that she couldn't handle Labs. This woman only weighs about 95 lbs. and just didn't have the strength.
Gracie is blossoming in her new family setting. She means well, doesn't have a mean bone in her body, but she doesn't know all of the rules yet.

She has a white aura about her. I think that's good.

Thanks guys, she is a sweetie.
Mag: This is my 1st "yellow" lab, and I was interested in what causes the different colors. It turns out that the yellow and chocolates are natural mutations of the blacks but until fairly recently they were culled,(killed), at birth. 2 blacks can produce a litter with all 3 colors. 2 chocolates can only produce chocolates and yellows. 2 yellows can only produce yellows. And why there aren't any labs with black, chocolate and yellow spots I don't know. They all have "solid" coats.
Class dismissed. LOL
