Here is a photo of Robert with his lovely wife, Catalina (I hope I remembered this corectly, and got her name right) ... but I do know that she goes by Cathy ... LOL!

... note the Bucanero cigar purse ... which had a black and white photo (that covered the entire back on it) of their two dogs ... very unique!

No ... and I was wondering who would be the first to notice ... LOL!

I asked him if he HAD to smoke one of his own cigars at these events ... and he said 'not at all' ...

... so I handed him a Partagas Serie D no.3 EL (a Cuban Limited Edition Maduro, for those that don't know) ...

I hear that's one of the world's great cigars (the PSD3EL), Slim. How'd he like it?

He was concerned that it was going to 'knock him on his butt' ... as he prefers a medium bodied cigar (the 'Peg Leg' is his favorite) ... but was very much surprised at how smooth and flavorfull it was.

He did mention that he thought it might be slightly on the 'green' side ... and he could tell that by how concentric light and dark rings formed in the ash. I had never heard that before ... but then, I don't produce cigars for a living.

He also said, at the half way point, that the flavor was starting to 'pick-up' ... and I did notice that he had to put it down for a bit ... LOL!

I think he enjoyed it ... having never had one before ... and it certainly riased a lot of eyebrows with others that attended the event.

I had one this weekend also. Man, that might be my new favorite ISOM>=.

I've only got one left Ed, so don't be expecting it in your Birthday package. ;>)
