IMHO ... they are just a novelty cigar. I've had the Pinar B, but not the other ...

Spend that kind of money on the 'real' deal ...

I've had the Ghurka before at store prices much higher than that. A gift from my wife. Thought it tasted quite nice but was not packed very solid and had trouble keeping it lit. Definately not worth those prices.

I've had the second, they were "ok" but I would not pay that for them. I have not tried the pre-embargo Gurka.

I agree with Robby.

I have had the Pinar and they are decent cigars, but not worth the money.

thanks, all for your comments.

Deadeye I appreciate the offer but a friend of mine got some and he let me try.

My only problem is how do I tell if this was a "real" cuban experience on the guhurka. the other was okay but not worth the $. that guhurka was great and had a nice long tight ash and smoked smooth and even. But only having smoked 2 true cuban cigars in my 44 years of living on this planet. I can not truly compare and know what I am looking for. Is there really "pre embargo" cigars out there and is this brand one of them. Okay Guys I need your advice! Help a bro out.
:-)

No, the Gurkhas are not a true Cuban experience. Get some ISOMs. Smoke some ISOMs.
