I can't tell you the date ... but the indication on the bottle (there were several close up shots from every angle) is that it was imported before the embargo ...

Yeah ... but it got the guy who won it, a bottle of Cuban Rum over 70 years old!

I once saw a prohibition era full bottle of whisky. The label was a written out prescription. Apparantly alcohol was legal for medicinal purposes by prescription. It went for about half of what the rum did, but then it was in pretty scruffy shape.
