#4 Well, no wonder. The guy has to be a foot taller than you (or more) and I'd bet his reach is at least 10-12" longer. If the guy has any skills, you'd have had to get in close and fight off a lot of punches just to stand a chance.

Well, I didn't mean to imply it was stupid...just distancing myself here. When I boxed in high school, the guy in my weight class sucked (I was much lighter then). No one two clases above me, so I boxed a guy three divisions up. Sure as hell learned to take a punch. Good training for my line of work, as well as the first divorce.
