I didn't think I'd ever get this one ... I didn't even have my auto-bid on ... but as pure luck would have it ...

... I bid $61 on a box of CAO L'Anniversaire Napoleon Cameroon (20) ... and won it!

It retails for $115 over at CI, and sells anywhere from $111 to $148 on the internet, and I've been picking them up every now and then for $10.50 each (when I get the urge for one) at the local shop at California prices.

Not bad for a cigar rated 92 in CA ... for what that's worth. To me it's all that, and more, because it's my favorite size and shape ... and I love Cameroon wrappers.

This sleeper really made my day ... and is 'prove positive' that good deals can be had, if you just have a little patience.

Personally, I think it is the absolute height of rudeness to so flagrantly boast about the great deals you got. It shows a total lack of regard for the sensibilities of the rest of us, and a marked lack of sensitivity on your part! (Not that I would be green with envy, or anything like that.........)

Nothing puts lead in the ol' pencil like a good deal on a box of fine smokes. Slim, you sir, are to be congratulated. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

That's a good score Slim. Patience and vigilence pays off. My recent "bragger" was a box of La Perla Habana maduro toros for $63. Not quite as good as yours, but still pretty decent.

I was delighted once to win 4 5-packs of Padron Delicia Maduros at $11.00 each. That would be equivalent to a box at $55.00 and they are normaly sole in the $70-80 range
